Brownie of the Year is an award given by some units for a girl who stands out as going the extra mile. At brownies, team work, supporting each other, taking responsibility and attending events are all part of being a brownie. But above all being a brownie is about having fun and growing into a happy young woman.
Girl-guiding gives girls and young women their own space to have fun, be themselves, build brilliant friendships and gain skills.
